National Joint Apprenticeship Training Committee - The NJATC is a joint program between the National Electrical Contractors Association and the IBEW. As the largest apprenticeship and training program of its kind, the NJATC has help to train over 300,000 apprentices to journeyman status without cost to the taxpayers.

Broward County Clerk of Courts - This site allows the public to check for any civil or criminal case including traffic cases. The search is free unless you want complete details of a case; then there is a charge. Once on the Web site, click the big On-Line Services button, which gives you a Disclaimer Agreement. Click the Accept button to get to the Search page. You can search by four methods: (1) Name of Individual (2) Name of Company (3) Case Number or (4) Citation (ticket) Number.

IBEW Local Union 728Electrical Contractor Magazine - This magazine is published for electrical contractors throughout the United States as a service of the more than 4,000 members of the National Electrical Contractors Association.

Florida Highway and Safety Motor Vehicles - This site has the location of all offices and other general information. It also has a section to check if your license is valid or invalid and section to renew your license on the Internet or over the telephone.

IBEW Fifth District - The District is Composed of 141 Local Unions representing over 58,000 Electrical Workers in five states, including Florida, and the Panama Canal Zone.

National Fire Protection Association - NFPA is a worldwide leader in providing fire, electrical, and life safety to the public. The mission of NFPA is to reduce the worldwide burden of fire and other hazards on the quality of life by developing and advocating scientifically based consensus codes and standards, research, training, and education.Prudential - The IBEW has coordinated with Prudential to implement a self-directed investment plan. The Annuity Fund Self-Direction program was discussed during the four investment seminars held through August.

U.S. National Labor Relations Board - The NLRB is an independent Federal agency created in 1935 to enforce the National Labor Relations Act. The NLRB conducts secret-ballot elections to determine whether employees want union representation and investigate and remedy unfair labor practices by employers and unions.
